Went to get some ammo a month ago and the shop manager said I was the first person to ask in about 2 years! It's a pretty busy shop for guns and ammo too. wymberley Posted August 9, 2018 Report Share Posted August 9, 2018 I run mine at 852 ft/lbs without being silly - 12.6g of Li'lGun. Although there's no need, I've always idly wondered if the 1,000 could ever be achieved. Zoomed in on the 35g V-Max and remembered what Kent used to say and with which I agreed. This has nothing to do with Stevo's superb accuracy but is more to do with the extended down range energy of the bullet in question. Because if all goes well I'm going to spend some dosh, I'm having a look around to glean what info' I can and have had a bit of a surprise. If you knock Stevo's 3100 ft/sec down to 3000 to match and simply stick with the G1 BC figure as a quick comparison, see what happens when you run the 22 Hornet V Max against the 20g Hornady WSM out to 200 yards.
