lopylui
So the newest addition iv braught home is a drill press, not sure how old it is but if i can identify it and find a suitable replacement motor and pully it will be a welcome addition to my collection of old tools. The only part i couldn't get a good picture of was the jacobs chuck, stamped as made in sheffield. Pictures to follow...
lopylui
SER.N° 20 8346 and a small circle with what looks to be a flame above it. Writing under pulley wheel: PICADOR FIG 5M 2 3 4 5 Oval with numbers 5019 stamped on it. And DP 220 in the casting. Yellow Bear
As Ditchy said 1450 (4 pole) or even 1000 (6 pole) if you can get one
Kgreg
It looks very similar to one I had there is a cover that bolts on the front with three screws half covering the front pulley, the cover had the name Tauco on it. I found it was a USA model made around 1940. Google TAUCO drill.
