matgriff
I've been given an old 12g side by side, it's made by a French company called Nemrod. It's in need of a light refurb. I've noticed that it's missing the screw from the center of the top lever that open the barrels. The lever still works fine, but I'm guessing it'll come loose eventually if I use it. Does anyone know if the screw is a "standard" size across a lot of guns ? or is it something unique to every manufacturer ? I've googled Nemrod, but can't find too much info on the net. Thanks
old'un
You may need to have a new breech pin made, if you have a local gunsmith pop in and see him or give him a call, he might just have a tin of old screws and possibly one that will fit with a little rework. If you have a lathe and the skill you could always make one?
bluesj
Being French you may be lucky and find something with the right tread and be able to make something that will do the job.

Gunman
As these things were all different it will be easier to get one made . It may have to have the thread in the spindle /cam re- tapped as it could be some obscure thread as many gun makers were prone to using .
