A bit of ginger

Inspired by reading an article on favourite hip flask tipples .. I recently tried a Brandy & Ginger recipe ..

Basically, add a bottle of brandy to a jar of ginger in syrup and leave for 10 days.

The result was a very 'grown up' and warming drink that'll be savoured through the season.

The left over ginger was the revelation though ... I've poured dark chocolate all over it .. Chocolate gingers with an alcoholic kick .. :yahoo:
