HW95J
I've placed an order with John from #### which should have arrived today but hasn't (unless it's a really late delivery!). Pretty big parcel which contains primers among other things. I can't get through using the landline because they're closed until the 24th. I don't have any tracking info. Does anyone have a direct line e.g mobile for John that they can PM me?
Stonepark
Just his landline, my parcel landed up today about 1600 and was posted Monday. Came via Stafford and DPD.
HW95J
Thanks for the reply. Did your order also contain 'dangerous goods'? It was meant to be 24h delivery, my partner was good enough to stay in to sign for it- makes it a bit of a pain that it hasn't shown up. Stonepark
Primed shells but no separate powder/primers.
HW95J
John just called me having read my email. Looks like a problem with the courier. I've now got the tracking number, hopefully it'll reach me tomorrow! Bit of a hiccup but not John's fault. Good level of customer service to call me at this time in the evening. Uilleachan
Always had good service from FE, and John's a total gentleman too deal with. As with anything courier north of the border delivery times mean nothing, especially where I am. Once had a DG delivery from down south, waited a week. I contacted the courier to ask why my delivery had been stalled in their Inverness depot for 5 days, to be told that they had limited availability of DG equipped/able vehicles. Only for it to turn up with the regular guy in his regular van on his regular run. 48hr delivery realised in 168hrs, par for the course here I'm afraid. HW95J
Everything arrived yesterday and I'm very pleased with it all. Excellent prices and the shot (which I believe they make themselves) looks to be of good quality. Would certainly order from them again, hopefully the courier wouldn't make a mess of it again! Uncle Albert
I have dealt with John from FE for some time. He is a perfect gentleman and will go out of his way to help. If you ordered Hazmat products then it is probably down to the courier. Dave
HW95J
Yes, the fault was 100% with the courier. Couldn't be more pleased with the experience apart from that
