Yellow Bear
Failing Mel look up the Identity Store website - I get most of my stuff there but they are only about 6 mile away. You will also have to decide whether to use Veg tan or chrome tan, depending if you want to decorate.
alan123shooting
Dependant on how many you want to make. Inendity for small pieces Try Le Prevo for everything leather and fittings or Metropolian they supply quality leather, for full hides I have used them for years metropolitan do next day shipping as standard
humperdingle
If it’s only smaller pieces, you can get good deals on fleabay, of offcuts, remnants etc, usually sold by the kilogram.
haynes
How about old horse saddles. There's usually some nice sized bits on them.

saddler
On mobile so no idea where you are. Le Prevo are very good for leather & fittings, check the online site as they have a lot of one-off speckial priced deals on.... Old saddles may not be too good a source as they're normally expensive & the leather will have had some hard use & exposure to sweat, muck, etc. Car boot sales are OK for older out of fashion briefcases/bags. Lots around once you get your eye in... Edited September 17, 2018 by saddler Typo
