All, Gents if you could ask your good ladies please,

Am looking to buy a 12g for clays & have narrowed it down to a Browning Liberty or a Beretta Vittoria. I've not seen either yet so I guess alot is down to how they feel but can anyone tell me what you like or don't about either of them? Do you feel any recoil with either a 21g or 24g cartridge?

Thank you

Ok not a lady but coached lots.  The liberty I dislike the alloy action as it spoils the balance of the gun, it fells wrong.

Vitoria most sold gun in the gun room where I last worked in comparison we only sold one Liberty.

A 525 with a liberty stock I think would be a much better gun.

Recoil is a personal thing you will need to try the guns to see.

My wife has just bought a vittoria from Chris potter guns, she was using a franchi lightweight 12g but wanted a taller stock , she finds the vittoria slightly heavier but manageable (5'3" and 55 kg) and uses 21g cartridges, had no problems whatsoever with recoil, having looked at the gun it's very well finished indeed.
