bang bang birdy
My mate had a Ruger it was ok but the trigger was rubbish and needed changing if you want to use it for gallery rifle
Wingman
Have you considered a lever action, I have had several over the years and loved my Winchester 94's in .357 and .44LC Rossi do them in that caliber also. Lovely guns for gallery rifle and dead easy to maintain. I agree with you about the Ruger I used to use on at my club on occasions and it was awful compared to the Winchester (sorry Ruger owners!) Graham M
If you go for a .357 lever, don't get one of the new Winchesters. The old triggers could be fettled to give a nice crisp let-off. The new ones have a cross-bolt safety and a tang grip safety together with a new trigger set-up, which breaks at around 7 lb and is near to impossible to do anything with it.
