Waat yu like bor, thaat wunt go thru them tha carb jet things

well....that was the reason it didnt work very well....what happened was there was an agitator in the powder tank that turned round and made a dust cloud and that was sucked into a very basic carb....and into the cylinder....but they couldnt get the dust agitator to make a dust cloud in the powder tank ...in a continuous quality...

No rocker cover leaking, so setting tappets while it’s off. Rocker gaskets are rubbish now days.

  1. take rocker box off
  2. degrease area that gasket sits on....and use proper degreaser stuff
  3. lay a bead of high temp mastic on cylinder head
  4. gently lay rocker box on gasket
  5. just gently nip up box bolts
  6. leave for 3 hours
  7. then nip up

thats how i do it and mine has never leaked ..and i use the same gasket as you

Mine probably wont leak now, It looks like the last time I fitted one I didnt use any gasket seal . I set the tappets, but the next wet day I am having the rocker arms off. They have a bit of wear on them, I think a bit of light milling is needed on the flats.
