I appreciate kids all come in different shapes and sizes but roughly speaking.My friend is after a 410 for his son, he's 7 and average height and weight. prem1234 Posted October 20, 2018 Report Share Posted October 20, 2018 So my lad who was one of the smallest in his year shot with this from about the age of 9, before that he had a single baikal but after comparing the two i'm sure he could of shot this earlier it's just that we got the W&S later when his shooting had progressed. It's got a LOP of 12 7/8 (12 and 3/4 inches) I started him off on 2 inch cartridges for a year or so and then moved him to the 3 inch 19.5gram fiocchi which are a great cartridge especially if moving from clays to game.
