BUT you don't have to and fine go ahead and load them to the length you normally do BUT as with any change in component re check point of aim/zero. John_R Posted October 26, 2018 Report Share Posted October 26, 2018 The cannelure isn't always for crimping, some bullets use it for part of the bond between jacket and core. I did find that if i tried to seat Hornady Interlocks deep enough for the ring to be into the neck it caused distortion of the neck.
