wymberley
I've just had a look at the ballistics table on a box of Hornady 20gr V Max 17WSM cartridges. Obviously, it's important when you're reloading but also when shooting factory shotgun and rimfire cartridges I find it handy to know what they're doing. I'm not looking for an accuracy that would put me on the centre spot, but in the ballpark and preferably in the centre circle is good enough. I use a Sierra Infinity Suite but only use G1 or S1 BCs throughout when inputting the details. I've just run the programme and to my amazement the Sierra and the box are identical (to one decimal point) for windage and bullet path and whole numbers out to 200 yards for velocity. I know I'm not telling it as it actually is but, have a distinct feeling that Hornady aren't either.
