Walker570
On one or two videos showing airgun shooting I have noticed an 'aid' added to the magnification ring which helps adjust magnification smoothly and easily. Have not seen these on sale anywhere. Any knowledge ????
crazycooker
Use a plastic break away coaster used for holding multiplier reels to sea fishing rods
Walker570
Many thanks , thats the item. Unbelievable variation in price for the same item on e bay etc ..£4 upto £9. I will try my local fishing shop first, nice to give them the business. Pigeon Watch comes up with the information once again
Mice!
Read somewhere of people using cable ties, so you can get an easier finger and thumb adjustment
Walker570
Cable ties would work but the item mentioned by crazycooker is far more robust and the adjustment actually acts as the 'handle' once trimmed. I will certainly be putting one on each of my scopes, specially the NV ones where access is restricted. Neat idea, particularly for likes of me with old arthritic fingers. Walker570
Ordered two to start with off Amazon. Could not find them in local fishing shops, they did not even know what they where. Check them out and if succesful they I'll have another two.

Walker570
Punch in 'plastic breakaway coasters for sale UK' on google. I have not got mine yet but watching them on you tube they do seem the bizz. Adjusting parralax without a wheel or adjusting magnification can be difficult, some are very stiff, particularly if the scope is cobbled up with NV kit. This idea gives you a substantial lever similar to the old video camera lens adjustment handles.
