russuk Posted July 28, 2007 Report Share Posted July 28, 2007 Either claybuster 7.5 28g (fibre wad optional!) or my current fave: Eley Olympic Trap 8 28g. They seem to have pretty much the same range as the Claybusters, are about the same sort of price and have a few more pellets in. And they are blue, so you can see them easily to pick them up. Basically, the best cartridge I have found for sporting is one that: a) works hits things c) is cheap Which explains my selections. How do you find the claybusters, are they as filthy as people say?
