MirokuMK70
Just looking for an outline idea of cost to skim a 12 x 12 ft room, walls and ceiling. Walls would be a combination of old but sound plaster and new plasterboard. The ceiling would be newly boarded... i realise i need to get someone in to quote but just trying to do some rough budgeting now... any help would be much appreciated...p.s. if any of you are located near hinckley leics I'd be happy to get you in to quote. seph234
Im not a plasterer, I do plumbing so get bathrooms skimmed out ready for re fits. I would say at the very worst it will take two days so i would say a quote would come in around £600. Also depends where you are located, labour rates vary around the country. Jonty
I'm not a plasterer but I recently paid £300 for a room of similar size to be skimmed. 1 x door 1 x window, existing plaster and plasterboard ceiling. It took one day.
