Nite site Viper

Not sure, i have a viper that i swap between about 5 different guns .

They all hold zero fine .though they are pcp airguns .not powder burners. Though i doubt that makes a difference with a .17. 

It could be just the way your holding the gun,it takes a while to get used to it and your normal steady hold is hard to repeat with the viper on.

Cheers for that,  when I zeroed the rifle it's in a clamp and can't move , but only had it a week so I'll have another go at the weekend 👍

Stick with it a while. A good set of shooting sticks makes a big difference. 

 

There is so much more to shooting a rifle accurately than just putting the cross hairs where you want the shot to go .

The different head,  shoulder , hand,  fore arm positions all add up to different poi .
