Robert Roper Son & Co Ltd, 29 Sheaf St, c.1905, 8 South St, Park c.1909-c.40* (also Pmkrs c.1878-c.94). British Gunmakers, Vol 2, N Brown. Yep, discounted this in Boothroyd as there's no mention there of "son" and the only year given is 1900, but the Sheaf and South Streets tally.
