Lunch

    Pheasant day in A/M,sorting things now, my usual lunch to cover a full walked up day is two Panini, with tinned meat (PEK) & an apple, also a flask of tea plus a bottle of milk for same, & a tube of mustard plus rations for dog.What do others suggest?

    hip flask of sloe gin and pork pie!! - decent one from a butchers  not that rubbish from tesco!

    Don,t like to mix gin & guns, pork pie sounds nice though.

    Roast beef, yorkshire pud, roast veg and a nice rich gravy, followed by a sponge pudding then cheese, biscuits and grapes, washed down with a small glass of port. 

     

    Then Down the pub for a pint or 2 of Pedigree.

    Some soup and pate and crackers with a hip flask for me! 

    oh And some dried meat treat things for the dog as they do much more work than me!

    Nice roast beef and mustard or roast ham with please pudding sandwich followed by some stollen or mince pies. A nice nip of port and a nip.of sloe gin during the day. Flask of strong black coffee for me.

    hot sausage rolls ...decent coffee....and spam sarnies with raw chopped shallots and colmans mustard......................(that was before my gluten free days came)

    sweet and sour sausages are nice...done in a sause made from plum jam soya sauce worster sauce pineapple and oinion...........

    Oooh I love stollen 😍

     

     

    Soup, bread and butter. Crisps and something sweet (chocolate, biscuits etc...)  flask hot water, decaf coffee.

     

    we have sloe gin/ Prosecco sausage rolls etc... for elvensis

    hello, on cold winter days i like a drop of stones ginger wine in my coffee but not to much to make coffee colder , or a drop in a flask, i also like the tins of game soup in my food flask, the mention of stollen cake, mmmmmmmm  try the M and S luxury one  mmmmmmm

    i love the look of stollen...looks sooo nice...........but when ive had it it has always been really dissapointing....
