Dekers
Missed this showing, but a classic film, seen it several times, still makes me feel a little uncomfortable!
7daysinaweek
Great watch after many years. Dekers they certainly pushed the boundaries in the 70's. The dueling banjees scene is timeless. atb 7diaw
figgy
Yoo is Gunnar pray boy. The arguing between the two victims after the scene made me chuckle. Burn Reynolds isn't the sympathetic type.
Ricko
Good vehicle for Jon Voight. The book is a bit more 'graphic' in places, the author James Dickey appears at the end of the film as the police chief. Incidentally Charley Boorman appears as Jon Voight's kid at the end, his father directed the film!
7daysinaweek
I have never read the book but have seen the film a few times, sounds like they paired it down for the big screen. Thanks for the info Ricko, everyday is a learning day on here. atb 7diaw
