Driven Boar Recommendations

Recommended Posts

I am looking to give driven boar a go next season and so just looking for recommendations of good places to go. I would prefer Germany, but I know there are other countries available.

The big issue is to ensure there is enough shooting and not the odd boar/quarry with nothing shot as I have heard stories of wasted trips. I know you get what you pay for, as per pheasant shooting.

If you have first hand experice of a company/lodge with details of bag numbers it would be hugely appreciated. Any other advice would not fall on deaf ears.

You can spend a lot of money and still be out of it. There are places which are fenced where boar numbers are high but you know the fence is there.  I will pm you a phone number.

Google Scrofa Hunting and look to get in touch with a chap named Mark Boulton who runs it. He will point you in the right direction

All my paid fors have been no shows but I have shot some on the grounds around our village so I will not be wasting my sheckels on basically business offers anymore.

Sounds like my experience of deer stalking, people forget it isn't about them getting you to shoot quarry, its all about them getting you to pay them for the promise of opportunity.
