I use a Lawrence Precision "Neon". They are certainly far from cheap, but they are incredibly efficient with sound attenuation, they will not gas-cut or rot, they cool very quickly and they weigh so little that you don't notice that they are there. I also think that, aesthetically, the slim line look is much better (and before anyone jumps on me, that is a personal opinion!).

Mae T12 is one of the best out there, but if you're on foot and trying to keep the weight down you will want something lighter. The upside of the T12 is that they're so slim you don't get any light bounce back when using a scope mounted torch.

I've fitted Hausken MD45's to quite few rifles. No complaints. Lightweight and fairly short. Cheap too.

I use a DPT duralium mod on my T3. It's super lightweight which is important as it;'s my NV rifle. You can add or remove baffels too. 

Down side is it's not made in the UK 😞
