thats what it is #4..............but the pic i saw is the exact same shape as the rusty find ...off a much smaller horse plough...proberly for a horticultural use...it slips into the plough body and is held in position with a wedge............and it has the flat point....

im on the same website as you............seen that pic you posted.........so it is there somewhere...there are hundreds of them...the pic i saw is not the best...but it is an exact match.......

You've yet to see the one he made for me 'in the flesh'. Absolutely stunning !! I had it with me yesterday but as you bottled out of the roost shooting, you didn't get to see it. Mind you, you didn't miss much, put about 100 out of the wood when I got there and very few returned. Hence why I didn't ring you. Lack of wind didn't help. You were better off sorting your fireplace out, far more fun than shooting. :no:

Cannot wait to use my knife breasting out the few pigeons that I did get. 

Anyway, to return to this thread, I think that it's a part of an Anglo Saxon ballcock. Got one exactly the same with the name Thomas Crapper on it.:lol:
