It is a huge problem and of course a physical barrier is just one aspect of securing the border, but a major preventative measure. And the one that didn't was a 49.2-48.7 split In the Governor race 8 of the 13 border counties went for the Democrat nominee and the smallest margin was 54-46. Presidio went 70-28 for the Dems. Mexico never had any intention of paying for it and joined the rest of the world in mocking him. He couldn't get it funded under a republican Congress and senate and now he's blaming the democrats. This shutdown started under a rep majority. Tarrifs on goods coming in won't hurt anyone but the US public. Tarrifs on outbound goods will hurt exporters as sales dry up Yep, I can see where all the winning is happening.
