Westley
Have you considered a S x S at all ? Some excellent English boxlocks for bargain money at present. It will carry and handle better than an O/U and it will be lighter for use as a 'walked up' gun. I started my Grandson off with a S x S, I know that the O/U is probably more 'in vogue' BUT you can always put a Nike transfer on the stock ! Arielvb
Hi lightweight over and unders are quite rare ,most today seem to be 7-8 lbs or more . Have a Browning A1 lightweight game in the cupboard ,which could be available .Made in 1964 and was one family owned before me .Single selective trigger ,28 inch barrels .Very clean and tidy ,obviously well cared for in its early life .Choked 1/4 and 1/2 with 65 ml chambers .As you are aware ,I’m sure ,hand made front to back ,with most parts numbered . The most important bit is the weight 6 1/2 lbs , narrow game rib with straight hand stock . Have photographs if you want a look . Gary
prem1234
I have not long bought my 15 year old son a Kofs 12 bore O/U game gun.....28 inch barrels, 3 inch chambers, 6 1/2 lbs and multi choke. A nice gun and very agile. Paid £475 for it brand new from a local shop.
