I've also got a Rizzini Inverness round body 28 bore a truly lovely gun and highly recommend these manufacturers they make some very good guns....

Very good high grade walnut stocks and some fantastic engraving on mine but not seen the Inverness any where else

My gun was from Countrystore Pampisford Cambs

You were very lucky to obtain the Inverness model as apparently they are only obtainable through B.Rizzini USA. Quite rare over here I would think. Lovely looking guns.

I obtained my 20g sideplated Macnab Highlander from Countrystore, Pampisford. Nice people to deal with.

From 1990 Rizzini's were imported to America

2008 CSMC ( Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Company ) became sole importers and formed a sister company B Rizzini USA

2010 Rizzini anounced there new gun the round body badged The  Inverness but the name belonged to CSMC as they wanted to sell to the public their own rizzini gun in 2012 called the Inverness which confused people with two guns being sold by two companies  Same gun same name launched 2 years apart

Later the companies dissolved their partnership and RizziniUSA no longer exists and CSMC sold off their remaining stock of Rizzini's while developing and manufacturing their own gun based on the Rizzini and  their own name Inverness which came in 20g only which they tweaked and added a few extras

Apparantly there was a long waiting time for the guns to be delivered from ordering and had inherent mechanical and structural problems which went back to CSMC for repairs

With some dissapointed customers

The Inverness name came about as Rizzini had based the gun on a Scottish design
