The Jackal Posted March 21, 2004 Report Share Posted March 21, 2004 hiya matey,.....the s410s nimrod power output,using .177 calibre AA field pellets, my chrono clocked the rifle at a top power of 11.7ftlbs with an average variation of just 8 fps over 30 shots. while the s410s action isnt governed by a seperate power regulator the rifles main firing valve is designed to regulate itself and adapt to the change in air pressure within the reservoir. these so-called self regulating valves are becoming the norm in the higher-end precharged guns. the only down side i find with this rifle when bought in kit form costs £729 but you get everything you need with it, to be personally honest i find a bit of difference between the standard s410 and the nimrod apart from the adjustable cheekpiece.....all in all to give it a rating out of 10......would be 10. ....get your money spent on what i think is the perfect hunting combo......
