Hi Drayman,Welcome to PW, I assume you can already handle a shotgun, if not a clay club would be the best option ,if you already have the gun,insurance and some experience check out 'shooting available' on here, also look at your local wildfowlers club as they often get pigeon shooting out of season, February is the 'roost shoot' time for pigeon men, normally saturday afternoons for 4 weeks in the woods, local gamekeepers will give you advice on whos allowing it, you need to ask around, if you want help knowing how to decoy birds etc check out utube , my favourites are Andy Crow and Geoff Garrod who give great advice and guidance, and finally there is a PW member in Kent who often asks for help clearing pigeons, check members section for ttab and politely drop him a line, best of luck, pity you are not nearer to me as I would be happy to take you out and pass on some tips, :good:

Hi thank for the info I've seen Andy crow on youtube before, I'm thinking of going on the basc course near me about woodpigeon shooting also a friend of mine knows a few farmers and he's going ask them if they need any help with pigeons ,so I see what comes up
