You know what they say...............

"a blade makes a knife.................a handle will sell a knife"................no good paying a load of dosh for a pretty handle..:hmm:

Have to agree...not my cup of tea really, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. 👍

I can assure you, there are more than a pretty handle.

i know they are a good knife...they have got a good reputation....and a price to go with it...the blades are a nice design....

there are a lot of knives out there that look very nice ...but are utter rubbish...thats all i meant to say:good:

They are very attractive knives and by reputation can do the job in spades.  My Yilditz 410 kills pheasants if I do my bit BUT I could spend another £10,000 and have one made but it wouldn't kill the birds any deader.  If owning something like that makes you happy then that in my book is what it is all about. ENJOY.

Stunning piece. I would love to own one but I would be scared to use it as then I would have to sharpen it 😞

Enjoy.

aint that the truth..............it took me years to learn to sharpen a blade properly....and there isnt an edge that will do everything............i have ruined many a good knife cause i didnt know how to cut and edge proper.........

thats why i prefer to use a full scandi cut blade...it is more forgiving to a hamfisted "by eye" sharpener like me.......

I have the Cael in 'blue glow in the dark' and it' superb , designed for deer but I use it for all game/ rabbits / pigeon etc.

If you are nervous then Emberleaf will sharpen it for you by return post. They do hold an edge so do many, many deer before a resharpen with only a quick strop on leather block occasionally.
