My 390 is a easy to clean as can be. Not had a 391 but it's pretty much the same gun bar the gas parts so shouldn't be that hard.

More importantly the 390 has jammed maybe once in the last 8 years or so. And that was because I hadn't cleaned it for a considerable time. It even cycles 65 mm carts without issue. Can't fault it really.

I've a Rem 1100 which was  born in 1978.

Give it a cursery wipe and lube every now and then and it has never let me down.

Probably the gun I shoot the best with.

The downside is that I'm not allowed to shoot driven game with it.

You could in our syndicate. 👍😀

I have read so many threads about similar issues with hatsan escorts,

i got one a few years ago, I have not had one problem with it. Never jammed, nothing. I shoot the best with it than any of my other shotguns. So much so my shooting buddy makes comment on my shooting ability with it... usually I’m getting stick for missing

i love it. I just cannot knock it.

Ive put various carts through it too.

I did have a mossberg before this, I just couldn’t get on with that, and sold it on

Franchi affinity, friend bought a synthetic for just under £700 new with a 7 year warranty. Cracking gun.

:good:I've never wanted more gun for my money with the  Affinity, never had an issue and it cycles 67mm cartridges. Yes it doesn't look too exciting being plastic and black but it does what it says on the box faultlessly.

Haha, never good. Loke anything though, ones got to go wrong. What did you have to get sorted on it out of interest?

Let’s just say that it would have been nice if it ejected cartridges after you’ve fired them, many, many, times, it traveled more miles back and forth to Oxford than it did with me going shooting 😳

Any one not read the topics my Franchi Affinity won't cycle. Then needing upgraded parts fitted by GMK.

Every make of semi auto has faults among them. From the cheapest to the most expensive semi autos.

If Hatsan were that bad the gun trade wouldn't sell them, more Hassel than they're worth. Yet they sell more of the cheaper Hatsan and Armsan type auto than others. Most semis have a hard life.
