I find people who have got a love of the countryside don't suffer as much from boredom and depression as the town folk do , every month of the year something is going on and the countryside is constantly changing , today the sun is out and the first signs of Spring is everywhere , get out and enjoy it and I bet a pound to a penny you wont regret it.

Your spot on mate, city folk have lost contact with the real world, everything on offer cost's money, money then becomes an obsession, Was watching a programme last night that included breaking in/training a horse.  It was fine to see the symbiosis between the two animals, it wasn't hard to imagine the satisfaction to be gained from riding an animal you have trained, compare that to sitting in traffic on the M25. We are very privileged to have countryside to enjoy/work in, even for some of us the satisfaction of owning a working dog and the ability to gather some of our own food, catching or growing.... you cant buy that sort of satisfaction
