Think there are some working lines up Scotland and the odd one scattered about. 

Imagine they will have waiting lists so speak to breeders now and get your name down. 

Dont go for non working lines just because they’re easier to find. 

 

Theyre supposedly slower to mature than labs but if you take your time you’ll have great hide dog 👍🏻

You can say that again. Mine is 3 and a half years old and still behaves like a baby. He might be my best friend - actually, he is - but I wouldn't dream of trying to train him for the field. Guaranteed disaster waiting to happen. They really are great companions but unless from a working line (quite rare I believe) they are best as pets only.
