I wouldn't know and can well imagine that they know what they're doing, but are they missing a trick with only offering insurance with the Premium membership package? Have to wonder what the membership strength would be if they tacked insurance on to the standard membership level.

I look at it the other way and wouldn't wish them to do so. I pay my dues to fund research and science based findings rather than spending income on membership "perks". Which am I guessing, is why, for an additional £2 a month, they offer their Premium package for those members who don't belong to the CA or BASC.
