Jimny, buying advice!

Rust behind the headlight area and in the back where the jack lives,,,and where the seatbelts mount to the chassis. Kingpins and wheel bearings worn can give rise to the "Death Wobble". If its a VVT engine with push buttons for 4wd and low box check that both work correctly. You can engage 4wd and low box when still rolling,,wheels straight, clutch depressed. If 4wd doesn't function its easy to change to manual hubs for not much money. Low box problems are usually the solenoid switch which engages it and is not hard to replace. Have a look on here to find out more.

Don't worry about the rust problems they can be sorted with a bit of time.

New boot floor can be welded in and fabricating some bits for where the water gets trapped behind the headlights isn't that big a job

I have still got the underside to blast off and underseal as we discussed.

Son goes off-road on greenlanes and it's a great lite run around. Easy to park and easy to work on.

If it has the rust issues you can see buy getting your hand up the front of the arch liner and feel the rear of the headlight mounts.

Get money knocked off if it requires this welding work doing.
