cant do anymore on old farriers knife at the moment..........i need to pop into wensum welding in town to pick up some quality gas welding rod for the pins ...brass and steel i have turned the shed upside down and i cant find any......

for the scales i will use 2.4mm brass pins...and for the new blade i will open the hole up to 3mm and the spring will remain the same at 2mm...cause i cant drill the spring as it is too hard..............so i will have to wait until tomorrow to get on with it ......

its great to see life being breathed back into my old knife (friend and companion)

all the best
