ditchman Posted April 22, 2019 Author Report Share Posted April 22, 2019 cant do anymore on old farriers knife at the moment..........i need to pop into wensum welding in town to pick up some quality gas welding rod for the pins ...brass and steel i have turned the shed upside down and i cant find any...... for the scales i will use 2.4mm brass pins...and for the new blade i will open the hole up to 3mm and the spring will remain the same at 2mm...cause i cant drill the spring as it is too hard..............so i will have to wait until tomorrow to get on with it ...... ditchman Posted April 24, 2019 Author Report Share Posted April 24, 2019 chaned the hole sizes now............all the holes were 2mm dia........they are all now 2.2mm......except the blade rivert that has gone from 2mm to 3.2 mm......i have also chosen to go for Bronze riverts rather than Brass..............i will also put the blade back to its original size.......
