Question being if you cannot assess and put in place a risk assessment for you using a shotgun or rifle should you be shooting?

An SGC or FAC shows no capability of common sense or quarry identification let alone you know the capabilities of the weapon in your hand! I still hear daily a shotgun is only dangerous to 40 yards! And shooting birds out of trees with a .22rf is acceptable!
