JDog Posted April 21 What a glorious day. Far too good to shoot pigeons, not that I have seen any round these parts for two months now. We lounged in the garden all morning, had lunch outside then headed off to the local ponds (3 miles). My wife took her painting kit and I took my light tackle intent on catching a few more roach. My tally was 20 roach, Linny spent a delightful two hours painting and Jasper fretted the whole time as Geese came teasingly close.

JDog Posted April 21 Ditchy, Barney was in his cage in the car. The geese would have been too much. Yes quilt and cushions were a good help. The 'Shiaz' has obviously got the better of you.

Old Boggy Posted April 29 Just seen this thread. What a lovely way to spend the day, with loved ones. Your wife has a wonderful talent there JDog. As Islandgun says, envious of people with such talent. Nothing will distract Jasper's attention away from those Canadas. Many thanks for posting.
