What a glorious day. Far too good to shoot pigeons, not that I have seen any round these parts for two months now.

We lounged in the garden all morning, had lunch outside then headed off to the local ponds (3 miles). My wife took her painting kit and I took my light tackle intent on catching a few more roach. My tally was 20 roach, Linny spent a delightful two hours painting and Jasper fretted the whole time as Geese came teasingly close.

PS i do loike a noice cumberland quilt dont give yu carpet burns on the ole nees...........

anhd a cushion under the bum and yew are gud to go........

i keep on looking at the picture..................that Jasper only gives a toss about one thing.........there could be a nuclear war going on behind him and he wouldnt care.....just as long as he is near his mum ...got his bum on a cumberland quilt..........and there is something moving infront of him with feathers on ...he is in heaven....:lol:

Just seen this thread. What a lovely way to spend the day, with loved ones.

Your wife has a wonderful talent there JDog. As Islandgun says, envious of people with such talent.

Nothing will distract Jasper's attention away from those Canadas.
