Went out last night looking for a few Roe on a farm, seen them regularly over the last few weeks on the same fields late evening so sat out and waited. Was just about to leave as a buck walked out of the hedge row about 90 yds away, he was soon dropped. As I stood up a doe then walked out behind him, a quick look through binoculars and you could see she was putting no weight at all on one rear leg which looked broken and set bent. Decided she should be taken as well. All in all a productive evening and a very happy farmer with a full freezer!!
