I think 🙂 that this is the standard form that we use for starlings cormorants etc. The new (shorter?) forms are the ones that I cant open. I have the latest acrobat but no joy 😞 They can wait I cant shoot for a couple of weeks now and hopefully the stuff is sorted when I get back.

Is that the correct form?

I think it is an older form, I have had the new one up (eventually but couldn't fill it in or download it.) But have since lost it and cannot get it back again.

this link is working for me but only via internet explorer.

No, have had it looked at by an IT specialist and he couldn’t open it either.

Yesterday l emailed my MP Vicky Ford asking for clarification on this debacle and received a copy of a letter that Mr Gove had sent to all Conservative MP’s explaining the problems caused by WJ and NE.

l have again emailed Vicky Ford pointing out that NE have produced an online form that the majority cannot access.

But in the meantime if anyone on here can show me/advise me how to open, complete and return NE’s application please feel free.

But no more slide up to so and so’s upload of a form and open that, cos it doesn’t, how shall l say politely (WORK) 🤭

Has anyone been successful???

Finally yes on my Windows 10 laptop. Using the application links at https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/wild-birds-licence-to-control-certain-species

  1. Right click on the type of licence applicable and select "Save Link As"
  2. This will open up a window where you can choose where on your computer you wish to save the document. By default this is usually in your downloads folder. I created a new folder in "Downloads" and called it "NE Licences" and saved all the documents in there for easy location.
  3. Make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your machine. You can do this by opening Adobe Reader and select "check for updates" in the help menu at the top left of the page.
  4. Navigate to wherever you downloaded the documents to and click on the one you wish to open. Alternatively open Adobe Acrobat Reader, select File and select the saved document from there.

Basically the issue is not to rely on your browsers version of Adobe Reader to open the documents. You MUST use the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.

i think they are stating that the farmer / landowner needs to complete and then add others to the granted license ?

not 100% sure that's the right form its dated under the 1981 act and also PLEASE CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG were they not going to make the interim license an online application ?

Vicky Ford? How we laughed. She voted for further firearms legislation during her tenure as an MEP.

Indeed she did, but as my MP who is drawing her salary from my taxable pension’s, l will ask her as many pertinent questions as l can on any subject that displeases me.

As yet and considering l did not vote for her, she’s not failed to give a response to the many issues raised with her.

Well, that's at least commendable.

Here's my tuppence worth.

Should a new and revised GL be granted on Monday-double your efforts to commit to killing all and every carrion crow that falls within range.

the whole debate come debacle over the GL has demonstrated just how much these blighters need to be come down on hard.

sat in traffic tonight I saw a CC atop a hedge looking down for nests-I doubt any other drivers spotted this from a distance of 3m off the road.

I remember a quote from the film 'Starship troopers'....................................'Kill Them-kill them all!'

my mission starts tuesday hopefully.

f.
