It works well, and even holds the heaviest of my rifles securely. It's the UK equivalent of the Hog Saddle. Selling because my Gen 2 trigger sticks have developed a fault and are out of warranty, and I won't be replacing them. I haven't the time to send the mount back for a refund. The mount will also fit any tripod with a standard screw fitting. I wouldn't pay for a Hog Saddle - too expensive, and was glad to come across this one. I've tried the Hog Saddle and while it's excellent, it's a hell of a lot more cost than this one from Idleback.
