Omega Service and Calibration

The omega service centre is in Southampton, if you pop into a local omega dealer they will send it off for you (about £15 for them to do it,) but it's then on their insurance and responsibility.

if you don't want to pay authorised dealer rates, use an independent watch guy like for example Genesis watches.

I need to get my Omega Seamaster 300 serviced and recalibrated I think, as it is losing time.

Wondering if anyone can recommend where to get it done and a rough cost?

Do you just post it off insured?

Get it down to your local Timpsons

Just had my speedmaster serviced and a repair to the winder which was loose A guy who specialises in classic watches in Bridlington did it for me .Cost me around £100 . Much cheaper than an omega repair shop and it keeps time spot on since I got it back

How far off was it before?

Lloyd don't worry too much about it's timekeeping it looks nice and it's right twice a day. If you want accurate time check your phone.

I’ve just drawn a watch on my arm and written Wolex on it, that’s also right twice a day so onto a winner 👍🏻😂

I was at a magic show and the magician wrapped my breitling in a handkerchief and hit it repeatedly with a hammer, I was horrified and feared the worst but I needn't have worried as when he unwrapped the hanky to my surprise my watch was intact and as an added bonus it's now more accurate than before. I'm not connected to the magician and cannot recommend him as I've forgotten his name but attending a magic show could work out considerably cheaper than a watch repair man.

Watchworks in Bristol are very highly regarded - I know a couple of people that don’t/won’t use anywhere else.

Thank you that’ll be handy if close by :)
