A better comparison would be with a Pard 008, in which case,I dont believe anyone would try to say that the photon is better. A half decent scope , with a 007 on the back of it , at low mag, and with its own on board IR , I would say would very easily out perform an XT. A 008 would blow it out the water. The Wickerman Posted May 16, 2019 Report Share Posted May 16, 2019 I own a pard 007 add own, & used to own a photon RT. On every scope I have tried the pard on (all low to mid range scopes) it massively out performs the photon.
