Whisky recommendations?

The Singleton

Aberfeldy 12

Deveron 12 (but not the 18)

Anything by Bruichladdich or Auchentoshan - A bit craft but all "out there" in a good way

I don't get on with Whiskey. My mate swears by Ardbeg...but he is biased as on the Adverts ( still available on YouTube ) he is the Standard Dress Diver in the Siebe Gorman Brass Helmet

Penderyn

It's all down to personal taste...I found Pederyn harsh! Just drinkable half and half with water!

Try Tamnavulin, small Speyside distillery and very good value for money when it's on offer in the big chain supermarkets.

I’m currently working on a project at Scapa Distillery in Orkney, so Scapa Skiren if you Fancy something without peat or their Glansa if you like a little smokiness. My current favourite though is Aberlour 12 year old.

Aberlour 12 year would be my pick as well, but had a 10 year Jura a month or so back that was very nice.
