Gun for kids

Recommended Posts

I wanted to buy a gun for the kids, given the fact the wee rascals grow faster than the grass in the garden is there a conceivable way of making a stock that can grown with them?

Some Hatsan Junior modes have this ability ... I had a 20g one.

Spacers that can be removed and added as needed.

Do you have Ruger Americans over there?  The 22lr has several combs available.  I have the small for my 8 year old and the medium for my wife.

How old are they?

my 11 year old has a yildiz .410 and my 13 year old a 20 bore webley and scott 920K. Both have short junior stocks but replacement full sized ones are cheap when they outgrow them.

I cut the stocks down in fillets 1/2” each so as they grow another section is added back in.  A machine threaded insert in the stock stops the holes growing around wood screws and keeps it all tight.

This is way to go with the escort 20ga they are ideal for growing kids and can use them right up to adult with the long pad.   .
