I wonder if Mr Packham and co will comment on, and justify the complete eradication of a species ?

- just wondering what their moral stance would be, how can they argue about the balance of nature if all land is managed to varying degrees by mankind.

But im sure rats are on his list of 'okay to shoot' because now the puffins etc are on the rise.

He is very clever with his wording, remember we all go out to enjoy murdering birds..

But doesn't this prove that pest/predator control works, as a conservation tool?

I see  Mr Packham has said one of his favourite garden birds is the woodpigeon.A typical comment from him knowing full well the mayhem him and his little team have caused in the recent weeks.

How can that be the favourite out of all them.. Wrens, goldfinch, all the tits, jeez he is a fool...

Yes it does, but he will still say we are mindlessly killing for fun. That is his big issue...

I realise this but he is dishonest, he is a thorn in the side of shooting claiming he is so because he is a 'conservationist'.....when his real stance is that of a 'protectionist, who recognises 'culling/controlling' certain species is neccesary, but doesn't like anyone enjoying doing it!

He appears to believe he alone is the arbiter of what conduct is morally permissible and what is not.........and his opinion is right and anyone who doesn't agree with his protectionist stance is wrong!........ Typical extremist behaviour, down perhaps to his mental disability?
