Replacing trigger blades on Beretta 682

Hi all

Am I missing a trick to remove the trigger blade from my Beretta 682X trap gun?  I have tried to  remove the existing one to replace it with a nice new one but I can’t get the old one to slide forward and clear the trigger guard!

i have fired the gun using snap caps and followed the instructions in the manual but it seems like the trigger base doesn’t drop forward enough to allow the blade to be slide off.

Is there a special way of doing it?
