Definitions and Examples of WML-GL34, 35 & 36.

Recommended Posts

Afternoon,

I've just read through the new licences  WML-GL34, 35 & 36.

They are explicit  in explaining the methods used and species they are to be used against however I cannot see any explanations within the text of what is meant by:

"to conserve wild birds and conserve flora",

"preserve public health and safety" and;

"prevention of serious damage".

As far as I can see the do not give any examples of what this would apply to? Have I missed something obvious? Is there guidance from the previous GL's that would apply to this? Forgive me if I have missed something blindingly obvious.

Many hanks

Both  good point's - it's more a case of I would like to be sure before I put myself in a certain situation such as would roost shooting be acceptable even though the wood you are in is a mile away from the field being damaged and your at the point of damage - or would the shooting of pigeon around your beat to keep numbers down be a acceptable for preventing/limiting serious damage etc etc
