itchy trigger Posted June 27, 2019 Report Share Posted June 27, 2019 (edited) hi folks right, bought one of these cheap 4000lb winches to go on my new quad, you know the ones, based in Leic's but the business address is Shanghai, anyhow while I'm waiting for the mounting plates to arrive I thought I would ask on here about the wiring. the wiring diagram that is with it is for a relay, I thought that this came with a relay as per images on the ad, but it has a control box with 5 wires coming out, one is for the rocker switch but there are quite thick long and short red wires coming from one side of the control box with again quite thick long and short black wires coming out the other side of the control box, all these four have what I would call quite heavy duty terminal connectors, no indication on the cables or control box of connections, I have heard or read somewhere short wires to the winch any advice would be much appreciated Edited June 28, 2019 by itchy trigger Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
