Norica 3 shot loading?

Hi all

I'm after a bit of advice I've just bought a 3shot norica bolt action and I can't seem to get to grips with loading the thing. It seems like you have to stick one in the chamber and play around with the other 2 shells to get them in the mag then have to hold them down so you can slide the bolt forward.

Am I missing a trick with this gun as it seems far too fiddly to be a design feature.

Any help is greatly appreciated

If it's like the Mossberg bolt action it's the design feature. You'll get the hang of it but yeah it's fiddly.

I think it's the same fiddly-ness as a bolt action top-fed rifle, it's just they tend to have five or more rounds in the mag so you're less likely to need to stuff an extra one in the chamber

I've not shot mine with three carts for a while, I think I put two in the 'mag' onevat a time, slip one in the chamber and carefully slide the bolt shut over the two in the 'mag'.

Good fun to use on squirrels or the rolling rabbit at the clay ground.
