steve_b_wales
Has anyone used the above combination, and if so, was it okay?
Sako7mm
Not exactly what you asked, but I have used 70 grain bullets in several 243s over the years. I haven’t found one which wouldn’t shoot them yet.
bumpy22
Using 85gn to great effect on deer and fox. I know you were after 70gn but this has seemed perfect all rounder with minimal meat damage and good for foxes. If you want any load data on this pm me Steve
Jason_ox
I’m using a .243 tikka t3x with Sako 70g varmint rounds. It’s a laser and devastating!

Start load is 41.5 - Max load is 45.5. I've done 5 of each - 42, 42.5, 43, 43.5, 44. I hope to try them soon. I've got almost a full tub of Vit 150 , but if I''m not happy with the results, I'll try my H4895 which I use for my .204, and I've got 3 tubs. Watch this space! Hindsight, I should have bought N140, but I'm hoping that it will be okay. Data states that it 'should' be okay. It's if suits my rifle, that's the problem.
